​Respite Care Providers provide services in the client's home, or out in the community. They care for the individual with disabilities, which allows the primary caregiver to take a break, run errands, spend time with friends/family, and/or take care of all other personal matters.

Attendant care refers to a service 

provided in a range of settings including the client's home and other community venues for individuals who require assistance due to physical, sensory and/or cognitive disabilities. Attendant care is

provided to a client as a means to enable that client to achieve

maximum personal independence and maintain functional skills and capacities within the community when appropriate.
